The Bouncer app

Bouncer has no analytics and no telemetry. Your rules, preferences, and browsing data stay on your Mac. If you turn on Find matches, Bouncer reads your local browser history on your Mac and never sends it anywhere.

Bouncer only talks to us in these cases:

• Update checks. Bouncer checks downloads.getbouncer.app for new versions. Our server sees an ordinary web request.
• Feedback you send. If you use Send Feedback in the app or on our support page, we store what you write, your email if you give it, the system details if you leave them attached, and your IP address so we can block spam.
• Buying a license. Lemon Squeezy handles payment as the merchant of record. We get your email, your order, and your license key. We never see your card details.

This website

We use PostHog to see how people find and use getbouncer.app. It records:

• Pages you view and buttons or links you click.
• The site that sent you here, and any campaign tags in the link.
• Your browser, device type, and an approximate location from your IP address.
• Sometimes a replay of the visit, with anything you type hidden.

PostHog stores a first-party cookie and a local storage entry so it can tell a new visit from a returning one. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party ad trackers on this site.

If you arrive from one of our ads, the ad's click ID in the link is recorded with your visit, so we can tell which ads lead to downloads. We may report that a click led to a download back to the ad network. We don't send your name or email.

We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for anything but improving Bouncer and this site.
